The Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Ceremony was held on Friday, November 16, where we’re extremely proud to share that Anna Maria Oyster Bar “Gran Jefe” John Horne proudly accepted the Rotary Club of Anna Maria Island’s Businessperson of the Year award. With the support of his father in the audience (pictured above, along with John’s wife, Amanda), only one week following the passing of his mother, and the night also being John’s parents’ 61st wedding anniversary, it was a night filled with emotions for the Horne family.
