5TH ANNUAL RIVER REGATTA

5th Annual River Regatta

The 5th annual River Regatta returns on February 9th and our AMOB Fam is so excited to be a part of this event! Musical entertainment, family-fun interactive activities and two different classes of speed boating will take place throughout the day…OH, and we will be on the North side of the river selling our mouth-watering Fried Pollock Fish and Fried Gulf Shrimp! We will even have chicken tenders and french fries for the kiddos (and for the adults that are still kiddos at heart). October Breast Cancer Fundraiser Total

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and our Anna Maria Oyster Bar family truly showed their support! All month long, AMOB staff sold pink margaritas and t-shirts to raise money for our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer team and WeCare Manatee breast health services. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, is a fun walk to raise awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer. Throughout the event, Making Strides celebrates survivors, honors lost loved-ones and provides post-walk entertainment. Each year, the Anna Maria Oyster Bar family recognizes a special group or organization with an annual Christmas Dinner party. This holiday season, we invited the 30 foster children currently living at the nearby Manatee Children’s Services shelter as well as MCF volunteers. On Sunday, August 26 our community came together to show their support. It was absolutely incredible to see over 150 community members come out and show their support for the area and red tide research. Since 1997, we’ve been hosting a Longevity Trip to celebrate our awesome crew (really, they’re family to us). It’s our way of saying thank you for their hard work and dedication – and one way we like to show the team how valued they are.
